Based on the quintessential British ceramic speakers of the 60s and 70s, the Royal uses a more powerful and efficient voice-coil + magnet that creates a wider sweet-spot as you travel the volume range. Featuring a large ceramic magnet, ribbed cone, proprietary cone treatment, and a cork gasket, the Royal is an inspired all-rounder. It has a clear, open top-end, deep lows and a signature upper midrange. Beautiful, rich cleans transition seamlessly to creamy breakup when pushed. The Royal is a very efficient and forward-sounding speaker for it’s type, but still has a touch of compression making it a classic all-rounder for players looking for a super versatile British style speaker.
